摘要： A leadframe (L/F) processing apparatus includes a leadframe loading unit (1) placed along a loading transport passage of a leadframe for supplying a leadframe which has not undergone lead processing, a lead processing unit (2) coupled to the leadframe loading unit and having a plurality of sets of processing presses (41, 42, 43, 44), a leadframe unloading unit (3) coupled to the lead processing unit for removing a leadframe which has undergone the lead processing, and press pitch adjusting means (5) for freely adjusting press pitch (P) of a plurality of sets of processing presses in the direction of the leadframe loading transport passage. The processing apparatus accordingly makes it possible to easily and surely make adjustment with high precision to the pitch of a plurality of sets of processing presses provided to the lead processing unit according to the pitch of works on the leadframe without proficiency in manipulation.

摘要： A thermal transfer printer comprises two parallel and adjacent print engines (1a, 1b), with each engine comprising a platen roller (4), a donor ribbon extending from a supply spool (10a, 10b) to a take-up spool (11a, 11b), and receiver supply rolls (5a, 5b) to hold a supply of receiver sheet. Drive means (11a, 11b; 26a, 26b) transport the donor ribbon and receiver sheet through the engine during printing independently from the drive means of the other engine. A printhead (3) has a row of heaters extending across both engines, with a first set (3a) of heaters positioned to operate with the first engine (1a) and a second set (3b) of heaters positioned to operate with the second engine (1b). Control means coordinate activation of the engines selectively with application of the image signal to the heater set which is operable with that selected engine. Both engines can be operated independently, enabling the printer to be set up for independent or dual printing.

摘要： An autoclave type sterilization device which includes an autoclave sterilization chamber with an electrical heating arrangement mounted thereon. This electrical heating arrangement employs one or more positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistors as heating elements. These heating elements are in direct thermal and electrical contact on opposing sides, which are coated with a conductive metal such as aluminum, with electrodes to supply electrical current. These electrodes are, in turn, in direct thermal contact on their outward-facing sides with respect to the heating elements with plates which are formed of a thermally conductive and electrically insulating ceramic material such as AL 2 O 3 , and the plates are in direct thermal contact on their outward-facing sides with respect to the heating elements with heat radiation units which include heat transfer portions which are fabricated to engage and are in direct thermal contact with a portion of the wall of the autoclave chamber. The heating elements are positioned by an electrically and thermally insulating frame made of heat-resistant material which serves, together with the heat radiation units, to fully enclose the heating elements. The heat radiation units further are in thermal and mechanical contact with each other which, together with the abovementioned enclosure of the heating elements, protects them from thermal gradients due to unbalanced heat transfer or exposure to air or gas flow and hence, from the known "pinch effect."
