摘要: This invention increases physical strength and promotes a healing effect by an article of personal adornment such as a garment, by the formation of a thicker portion (2 b ) at a portion corresponding to a meridian point of the human body, or by a cut-out portion or an open portion (3). It also prevents VDT-related disorders caused by weak electromagnetic waves by the insertion of salt, benzoic acid, or citric acid between a portion exposed to such waves and the human body. A thicker portion, protrusions, or a thinner portion (2 a ) is attached to an inner side of a garment (1 a ) at a portion corresponding to a human meridian point of the traditional medicine of the East-Asia. A therapeutic effect is obtained by temperature stimulus caused by such a thicker portion. A further therapeutic effect can be obtained by forming a cut-out portion or open portion to reduce the stimulus to the meridian point or skin. VDT-related disorders can be prevented by reducing the stimulus caused by weak electromagnetic waves on the meridian point or skin, by inserting salt, benzoic acid, or citric acid between a metal accessory and the body, or between a VDT and the body.

摘要: An electronic reflexotherapy device comprises a compact body (1) with a cover (3) and an insert (2) made of transparent material at the top. The body (1) houses an energy source (10), an optical indicator (9) and an electronic unit (8), provided additionally with an audio indicator device (11). At its forward end, the body (1) incorporates a stimulating metal end-piece (4) in the form of a bushing serving as a passive electrode (5), the lower part of which has an annular, cylindrical cavity (12). Located at the centre of the passive electrode (5) is an acicular active electrode, dielectrically insulated therefrom, the working end of which is hemispherical. The height of the annular cavity (12) is at least twice the diameter of the active electrode (6). The active and inert electrodes form part of the electronic actuating system for the electronic unit (8) and automatically switch on the device on contact through the skin. The device of the invention can be used in searching for acupuncture points, marking them and performing therapy automatically while carrying out an express diagnosis by electro-acupuncture methods.

摘要: Apparatus is described for determining cutinous points in an animal body, (for example a human body) where two metallic points (30, 40/64, 66) contact with the body. In use the body and metallic points (32, 40/64, 66) complete a circuit including resistors (6, 22), a transistor (10), transformer (14) and loudspeaker (28). When a cutinous point on the body is located the sound through the loudspeaker (28) changes or some other indication is given.

摘要: A multifunction treating apparatus, which is mainly used in the treatment for hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases, includes a case (8) having a cavity, a spacer (4) made of porosint and a means generating electric field (3). In the cavity, through holes (12) are provided in the bottom (9); the spacer (4) is placed on the bottom (9); the means generating electric field (3) is seated on the spacer (4) and medicaments (6) are also stored. Under the effect of the electric field of the means (3) on the wall of micro passage of the spacer (4), trace elements are released and diffuse through the through holes (12) of bottom (9) of the cavity with medicament ions diffusing to the rear surface of the case to be absorbed by a human body. The apparatus can improve microcirculation, activate the cells of the part of a human body and treat hypertension by changing micro electric potentials of acupuncture points in the convenient manner.

摘要: An apparatus for alleviating or curing human ailments, afflictions and diseases by application of magnetism. A north pole surface of a magnet is applied to the hands or at least one hand of a person being treated, and is maintained in contact for a time period or periods in accordance with the ailments or afflictions being treated. The magnet is maintained in contact for a time period or periods sufficient to elicit affirmative response, alleviation, or cure. Concurrently with application of the magnet to the hands, an additional magnet or magnets may be applied to a particular afflicted area or areas of the body of the person, the additional magnet or magnets being configurated to accommodate the area being treated and having appropriate total magnetic flux.
