    摘要: Des matières fécales sont appliquées sur un papier absorbant imprégné d'un composé solide donnant du péroxyde, en l'occurence du perborate de sodium. A l'échantillon de matières fécales est ajouté un chromogène, de la 3,3',5,5'-tétraméthylbenzidine, que l'on dissout dans l'acide acétique, l'éthanol et l'eau et que l'on stabilise en ajoutant de l'histidine. La présence de sang dans l'échantillon de matières fécales se traduit par l'apparition sur celui-ci et son pourtour d'une couleur bleue-vert bleuâtre. L'apparition de cette couleur peut se produire en l'espace de 5 à 10 secondes lorsque l'échantillon contient 1 ml de sang pour 100 g de matières fécales. Ainsi le système d'analyse n'emploie qu'un seul réactif lors de la réalisation de l'analyse parce que la partie du système donnant du peroxyde est imprégné sur le même support où sont appliquées les matières fécales.
