A method of power headroom reporting in adaptive TDD systems is proposed. A UE obtains configuration information from a base station in an adaptive TDD system. Each radio frame comprises a plurality of subframes, which are configured into two or more subframe sets. The UE determines a power headroom reporting (PHR) triggering condition. The UE performs PHR for at least one of the configured two or more subframe sets upon satisfying the triggering condition. In one embodiment, the UE sends PH values for all subframe sets in the same PH reporting subframe. In another embodiment, the UE sends PH values for different subframe sets in different PHR reporting subframes.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method by which a terminal transmits a sounding reference signal (SRS) to a base station in a time division duplex (TDD) system. Particularly, the method comprises the steps of: setting a first power control parameter set and a second power control parameter set through an upper layer; and transmitting the SRS to the base station in a special subframe one time or two times, wherein transmission power of the SRS is determined on the basis of the first power control parameter set and/or the second power control parameter set according to the number of times of the SRS being transmitted on the special subframe.

Aspects related to performing power control over a secondary carrier are described. At least one parameter can be received for performing power control over a carrier with a cell. Based on the at least one parameter, at least one alternative parameter can be determined for performing a power control procedure for a secondary carrier with the cell, and the power control procedure for the secondary carrier with the cell can be performed based at least in part on the at least one alternative parameter. The at least one alternative parameter may result in a power control procedure for the secondary carrier that takes less time than a power control procedure for the primary carrier with the cell.

The UE determines a power control adjustment state for an uplink subframe i based on the TPC command. The power control adjustment state of subframe i is accumulated from a power control adjustment state of a previous uplink subframe j, where subframe i and subframe j belong to the same subframe set. In one embodiment, subframe j is the closest previous uplink subframe with respect to uplink subframe i.
