    摘要: The valve 10 has a ported valving element 16 which removes from, and seats upon, a ported valve seat 12, to open and close the valve to fluid flow through a ported stop plate 22, and the valving element 16, in relation to ports 32 in the stop plate 22, has relieved steps formed therein to create rolling vortices in the through-flowing fluid. Additionally, the valve 10, in a first embodiment thereof, has two ported buffer plates 18,20, however, the latter, vis-a-vis the stop plate ports 32, have no steps; rather the ports therein are of the same dimension as the ports 32 in the stop plate 22 with which they align or register.

A base plate (l6) at the other end of the intensifiers admits liquid into each thereof, for pressure intensification of the liquid by the intensifiers, and provides a common outlet port for the pressurised liquid.

A micro processor unit continuously compares the applied torque to a torque control limit value. When the torque control limit is reached the drive system power is reduced. After a preselected time pause the drive system applies at least one retorque pulse. When a predetermined quantity of retorque pulses have been applied, the tensioning operation is terminated.

The rotors, male and female, are of the asymmetrical type. Confronting concave and convex surfaces of portions of the grooves and lobes of the rotors, for having different arcuate conformations along principal lengths thereof, define a void of varying width therebetween. The embodiment depicted comprises a pair of coacting rotors, in a rotary compressor, having interengaging lobes and grooves, the rotors being journalled in intersecting bores in a housing. The circumferential surfaces, and end walls of the bores are polymer-layered, and the rotors carry abrasive to machine the polymer to define an optimum clearance for rotor rotation within the bores, and in coaction together. Each rotor is polymer-coated and abrasive particles are borne in the polymer on the outer edges of the lobes and in discrete radial patterns on the rotor sides. The method defines the polymer-coating and abrasive particles-deposition steps.
