The invention relates to a lighting and/or indicating device for a motor vehicle (1) comprising a control unit connected to a vehicle access control device characterized in that each of the first (51) and second (52) rotating modules has a first surface (MIR) and a second surface (MOT) opposite the first: wherein the first surface (MIR) has a reflective surface (37) capable of directing the light beam (40) emitted by the first source of white light (33) toward said area and the second surface (MOT) bears a pattern; wherein said control unit asynchronously controls the rotation of the first and second rotating modules (51, 52) following detection of a control signal received by the vehicle access control device to direct the first surfaces (MIR) thereof toward said area via a series of at least two rotations of at least 180°, first in one direction then in the other, of each rotating module (51, 52) with a brightness determined according to the rotation of each module (51, 52). Said control unit asynchronously directs the modules (51, 52) before the end of a cycle having a predetermined duration such that the second surfaces thereof (MOT) are visible from outside the vehicle (1) at the end of the cycle having a predetermined duration.
