摘要: A fluid sampling device having a configuration suitable for "single-use disposability while enabling good aseptic sampling. The fluid sampling device comprising a port insert (10) suitable for installation into a port provided in a fluid receptacle, said port insert (10) comprising a body (20) having one or a plurality of shafts (26) therethrough, and sample gating means for selectively opening and closing any of said shaft(s) (26) to enable the flow of fluid through the body (20) through a respective one of the shaft(s) (26) in an "open" position, but not in a "closed" position. The individual shaft(s) (26) are configured to be communicated with a respective sample container via a respective conduit (120).
