Abstract: A plasma display wherein all the charges are positive is disclosed which comprises a green phosphor which hardly adsorbs or reacts with water, carbon monoxide, a carbon dioxide gas or a hydrocarbon. A green phosphor layer is made of a green phosphor composed of at least one material selected among those represented by the general formula M1-a(Ga1-xAlx)2O4:Mna (wherein M is Zn, Mg, Ca or Sr); the general formula (Y1-a-yGda)(Ga1-xAlx)3(BO3)4:Tby; the general formula (Y1-a-yGda)(Ga1-xAlx)3(BO3)4:Cey, Tby; the general formula (Y1-a-yGda)BO3:Tby; or the general formula (Y1-a-yGda)3(Ga1-xAlx)5O12:Tby.
