摘要： A polarizing film which comprises, in a film substrate, at least one dye selected from:
1) a dye of formula (1):
Q¹-N=N-Q²-X-Q³-N=N-Q⁴ (1)

each Me, which are the same or different, is a transition metal selected from copper, nickel, zinc and iron;
Q⁵ and Q⁶, which are the same or different, are each an unsubstituted or substituted 1,2-naphthalene group;
Y is -N=N- or
and
