摘要: In a wireless network supporting aggregation of uplink component carriers, sounding reference signals, SRS, are transmitted (62) on an uplink, UL, primary component carrier. An activation command corresponding to an UL secondary component carrier, SCC, is received (64), in response to which the receiving transceiver determines (65) whether it has valid timing information for the UL SCC, wherein valid timing information for the UL SCC indicates that the UL SCC is UL synchronized. The valid timing information comprises at least a timing advance value for one uplink SCC or one group of uplink SCC. In response to this determination, transmission of SRS on the UL SCC is enabled (66) if the UL SCC is synchronized, when SRS is configured for the UL SCC. Otherwise, transmission of SRS on the UL SCC is prohibited (68) until the UL SCC is UL synchronized.

摘要: The invention relates to a method in a first communication device within a communications network for calculating a random access transmission power setting of the first communication device comprising to receive (42) data from a second communication device on a radio channel indicating a random access reception power. The first communication device determines (44) a desired random access reception power of the second communication device based on the received data and a parameter of random access configuration that influences a detection performance of the random access at the second communication device. Based on the desired random access reception power the first communication device calculates (46) a random access transmission power to use.

摘要: Power headroom reports may be transmitted from a wireless terminal to a base station wherein a primary component carrier and at least two secondary component carriers are provided for uplink transmissions from the wireless terminal to the base station and wherein a respective component carrier index is assigned to each of the at least two secondary component carriers provided for the wireless terminal. Respective power headroom reports may be generated for the primary component carrier and for each of the at least two secondary component carriers, and a MAC control element may be generated including the power headroom reports for the primary and secondary component carriers. More particularly, the power headroom reports for each of the at least one secondary component carriers may be arranged in order of the component carrier indices for the respective secondary component carriers. The MAC control element including the power headroom reports for the primary and secondary component carriers may be transmitted from the wireless terminal to the base station over one of the component carriers. Related wireless terminals, and base stations are also discussed.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of operating a user equipment (10) in a radio access network, the user equipment (10) being configured with a first transmission resource pertaining to transmission of a first type of control information. The user equipment is further configured with a second transmission resource pertaining to transmission of a second type of control information. The first transmission resource and the second transmission resource partially overlap. The method comprises transmitting control information of the first type and/or the second type depending on the partial overlap of the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource.
The disclosure also pertains to related methods and devices.

摘要: A base station (20A) is configured to transmit user data to a wireless device (16A) upon a first carrier (22). The base station (20A) identifies, from a set of transmission resources that is nominally allocated for transmission of user data upon the first carrier (22), a subset of transmission resources that is also nominally allocated for transmission of a reference or control signal either by the base station (20A) upon a second carrier (24) or by a neighboring base station (20B) upon the first carrier (22). The base station (20A) selectively transmits user data to the wireless device (16A) upon the first carrier (22) exclusive of this identified subset of transmission resources. The device (16A) in some embodiments obtains information indicating that the base station (20A) is selectively transmitting user data upon the first carrier (22) exclusive of the subset in this way. Based on this information, the device (16A) recovers user data received upon the first carrier (22) exclusive of the subset of transmission resources.
