    摘要: A communication device provided between a data terminal equipment and a telephone line converts an analog signal which is transmitted from a communicating terminal via a telephone line into a digital signal to enable the data terminal equipment to receive A/D converted data in accordance with a command signal from the data terminal equipment. The communication device transmits the arrival signal to the data terminal equipment exclusively when it is judged that the communicating terminal is the facsimile machine, thereby facilitating data reception from the facsimile machine and improving a data reception efficiency.
