A sanitary flycatcher of a transparent synthetic resin which can be handled very conventiently, and which is capable of catching a fly or other kind of flying insect sanitarily and killing the same naturally without using a chemical spray, a swatter or a flytrap. A flycatcher body constituting the base of this flycatcher is formed by thermocompression bonding the edges of both side portions and a rear end portion with high-frequency heat, excluding a front end portion of two thin, downwardly-diverging (trapezoidal) laminated plates so as to seal the same. When the flycatcher thus formed is put to practical use, the upper parts of both side portions of the flycatcher body are pressed slightly by the fingers so as to deform the flycatcher body to a conical shape, and a fly or other kind of insect is trapped and killed.

A method for removing microorganisms and small insects from fabric or animal's hair comprising applying and removing an adhesive composition comprising at least one adhesive polymer and a plasticizer, wherein the amounts of this plasticizer range from about 5 to about 45% by weight of the total weight of the wet adhesive composition. The adhesive composition used in the method of the invention thanks to the presence of high plasticizer concentrations are very fluid to allow said micro-organisms or small insects to be removed and, at the same time, they leave no residue on the fabric, or animal's hair. The present invention further relates to adhesive compositions to be used in the method of the invention further containing active ingredients which are released from the adhesive composition during the step of removing the organisms from the fabric or the animal's hair.

Insects can be captured in a simple and convenient manner by virtue of the fact that a capturing area, which can be influenced at least temporarily by the immobilizing device, is provided outside of the device having the associated capturing space (14) in order to bring the insects from this capturing space to the collecting device (13) via the capturing opening, and that the immobilizing device is formed by at least one light source (12) for blinding the insects. After switching on the immobilizing device, the capturing space must be merely placed over the insect so that the insect then enters the collecting device (13).

Arrangement and application for executing control measures against vermin either directly or indirectly via objects giving shelter to the vermin, e.g. substrates of substances. The control measure is based on the rate of cooling the vermin, object, etc., with the help of dry snow particles to which smaller and larger sizes are allocated within a selected range of sizes and velocities are allocated within a selected range of velocities. The arrangement and the application are associated with advantages in the sense that environmentally friendly and rapid control is achieved, and in that an effectively functioning cooling system is obtained, which, by the gradual supply of snow, executes cooling through different velocities and sizes of the snow particles. Rapid cooling of a defined target can be obtained in this way. In an initial phaase the small snow particles contribute most to the cooling by sublimating and giving off cold rapidly. The larger snow particles are then used to penetrate through the gas barrier and pressure barrier that is created by the smnall snow particles, in conjunction with which cooling can be maintained or can proceed. A proportion of the kinetic energy from the reduction in the pressure of the gas is utilized to strike the target with snow particles of the aforementioned kind in an optimal fashion.
