The ordnance transfer assembly (22) establishes temporarily a transfer link between the aircraft and utilizes an ordnance conveyor mechanism for the delivery of the ordnance units (20). The second aircraft (14) includes a multi-use multi-purpose pylon (16) that receives the transferred ordnance (20) in the proper manner. The aircrafts can be uninhabited.

The present disclosure discloses a method of using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) comprising a housing (1), a processor, a positioning unit (5), a sonar unit (2), a launching unit (4) and a fishhook unit (3) in fishing. The method comprises manipulating the UAV to fly to a designated destination determined by the processor according to one of a received wireless communication and a preset program, adjusting the sonar unit (2) to a predetermined height by the positioning unit (5), determining a coordinate corresponding to a signal detected by the sonar unit (2) as a fishing region when the signal is consistent with a predetermined value, launching bait to the fishing region by the launching unit (4), releasing a fishhook from the fishhook unit (3) to the fishing region, and manipulating the UAV to hover or return by the processor according to one of a received wireless communication and a preset program.

An apparatus and method for attachment of a payload or store to the external surface of an aerial vehicle includes a single point release feature. The apparatus includes an elongated base having a first distal end and a second distal end. A retention receptacle including a hollow tube is disposed adjacent the first distal end and is configured to removably receive and retain the store or payload. In addition, a release receptacle housing a release mechanism assembly is disposed adjacent said second distal end. When the release mechanism assembly is in the closed and locked position, the store or payload is retained to the vehicle via a spring loaded lock pin advanced into the retention receptacle. When the release mechanism assembly is in the open and unlocked position, the store or payload may be disengaged from the vehicle.
