    摘要: Embodiments of the invention relate to a method for applying an optical mark (30) to a spectacle lens (12) mounted in a spectacle frame (14). The method comprises determining an intended position of the optical mark (30) at the spectacle lens (12) based on the spectacle frame (14), and arranging the spectacle frame (14) in a marking device (10) having a marking actuator (18) and adjusting the relative position of the spectacle frame (14) and the marking actuator (18) such that an actuation axis (104) of the marking actuator (18) intersects with the spectacle lens (12) at the intended position of the optical mark (30). The method further comprises applying the optical mark (30) to the spectacle lens (12) at the intended position by using the marking actuator (18). Further embodiments of the invention relate to a used of a spectacle frame for as a positioning reference for an optical mark (30) and a marking device (10).
