Ziel ist ein Verfahren für die Gründung eines mit einem Bauwerkabschnitt in einer vorbestimmten Errichtungshöhe oberhalb der Wasseroberfläche zu errichtenden Offshorebauwerks derart auszugestalten, dass insbesondere ein Verbringen des in der Errichtungshöhe zu errichtenden Bauwerkabschnittes bis in die Errichtungshöhe mit vergleichsweise einfachen und kostengünstigen Mitteln möglich ist, ohne dass hierfür Spezialkräne oder aber spezielle Transportbargen mit hohen Aufbauten erforderlich sind, und wobei die Anbindung des in der Errichtungshöhe anzuordnenden Bauwerkabschnittes an die Gründung mit vergleichsweise einfachen Mitteln erfolgen kann. Dazu wird ein solches Verfahren mit folgenden Schritten vorgeschlagen: a) Absenken eines Sockelelements mit wenigstens einem fest mit diesem verbundenen Vertikalrohr, welches in seinem Innern ein relativ zu diesem in seiner Längsrichtung verlagerbares Säulenelement aufweist, auf den Meeresgrund, so dass ein oberes, offenes Ende des Vertikalrohrs oberhalb der Wasseroberfläche, jedoch unterhalb der Errichtungshöhe liegt, b) Absetzen des in der vorbestimmten Errichtungshöhe zu errichtenden Bauwerkabschnitts auf dem obere Ende des wenigstens einen Vertikalrohrs, c) Anheben des Säulenelements und Verlagern desselben relativ zu dem Vertikalrohr, wobei der in einer vorbestimmten Errichtungshöhe zu errichtende Bauwerkabschnitt auf einem oberen Ende des Säulenelements ruht, bis der Bauwerkabschnitt die vorbestimmte Errichtungshöhe erreicht hat, d) Festlegen des Säulenelementes an dem Vertikalrohr, um ein Absinken des erstgenannten zu verhindern.
