A projection area (AR) to which are projected components (LC R , LC G , LC B ) advancing and passing through the diffraction gratings (54R, 54G, 54B) among the light incident on the diffraction gratings (54R, 54G, 54B) is positioned below the light distribution pattern and within a range (RNG) in which a field of view of a driver of a vehicle is obstructed by the vehicle.

The vehicle lamp according to the present invention includes a light emitting unit in which a plurality of light emitting elements are arranged in a matrix, a projection lens which is configured to focus and project light emitted from the light emitting unit, a light emission drive unit which is configured to drive the light emitting element to emit light based on an input voltage from an in-vehicle battery, and a control unit which is configured to perform control to cause both a lower side light emitting area and an upper side light emitting area located above the lower side light emitting area to emit light in response to a high beam lighting instruction and to cause the lower side light emitting area not to emit light in response to a low beam lighting instruction. The control unit is configured to perform control to vary light amount distribution of the upper side light emitting area at a time of high beam lighting and a time of low beam lighting.-

The aberration correction lens unit includes a first lens located in a front side of the light source, and a second lens located in front of the first lens. The aberration correction lens unit performs vibration control for vibrating intersections in a front-back direction. The intersections are intersections of an optical axis, and red, green, and blue components of white light incident in parallel from the front toward the outside in the radial direction from the optical axis side of the aberration correction lens unit.

Das Lichtmodule zeichnet sich dadurch aus, das die Primäroptik von jedem der n Teillichtmodule dazu eingerichtet und angeordnet ist, einen Teil des von der Lichtquelle dieses Teilmoduls ausgehenden Lichtes an dessen Sekundäroptik vorbei so auf eine Sekundäroptik eines nächst benachbarten Teillichtmoduls zu richten, dass das nächstbenachbarte Teillichtmodul mit diesem Licht einen peripheren Raumwinkelbereich beleuchtet, der sich mit dem zentralen Raumwinkelbereich durchdringt und der dabei über den zentralen Raumwinkelbereich seitlich herausragt.
