    摘要: Methods and apparatus to monitor a multimedia presentation including multiple content windows are disclosed. An example method to monitor a media device providing a media presentation capable of including a plurality of content windows disclosed herein comprises obtaining a monitored image corresponding to the media presentation provided by the media device, determining a parameter value representative of at least one of a luminance or a chrominance of a region in the monitored image, a shape of the region representative of at least one of the plurality of content windows, and comparing the parameter value to a highlight threshold to determine whether a content window associated with a location of the region in the monitored image is highlighted.

    摘要: A method for monitoring the viewing of video content transmitted via a first wireless link (70) to a mobile terminal (200), in particular to a mobile telecommunication device, comprises the steps of: within the mobile terminal (200) automatically gathering information relating to the viewing of the video content; forwarding the gathered information to an interface (210) of the mobile terminal (200), the interface (210) allowing for sending data via a second wireless link (50); and transmitting the information to a data collection center (60) via the second wireless link (50). Therefore, the information is directly gathered within the mobile terminal (200), i. e. the integrity of the gathered data is not affected by the video display and audio playback means used. The transmission of the gathered information by means of a wireless link (50) allows for an instant (or short-term) analysis of the data at the data collection center. The monitored user (and therefore its viewing habits) are completely unaffected by the inventive monitoring method.

    摘要: What is described is a method, device, system and computer program for determining a rank index for a content distribution network, CDN, included in a system comprising a plurality of CDNs and at least one aggregate of addresses associated with users. With reference to the method, it includes the steps of:
    - receiving (S110) telemetry data relating to one or more services delivered, in a given time interval (Δt), by means of each CDN of said plurality of CDNs to users of said at least one aggregate of addresses;
    - determining (S120), based on said telemetry data, a set of CDN-aggregate performance indexes (KPI.,.,Δt) indicating a level of performance shown by a CDN in providing one or more services to users associated with an aggregate of addresses;
    - determining (S130), based on the set of CDN-aggregate performance indexes, a performance rank index (KPI*k,q,Δt) for a given CDN (CDNk), wherein the rank index indicates a rank level of the CDN-aggregate index of said predetermined CDN relative to the CDN-aggregate indexes of the set.

    摘要: Systems, methods, and processor readable media are disclosed for detection of signal quality problems and errors in digital radio broadcast signals. First monitoring equipment is located in an over-the-air coverage area of a first radio station. Second monitoring equipment is located in an over-the-air coverage area of a second radio station. The first and second monitoring equipment are configured to receive digital radio broadcast signals from the respective first and second radio stations. A computing system is configured to receive data from the first monitoring equipment and the second monitoring equipment, the data being indicative of one or more attributes of a digital radio broadcast signal received at respective monitoring equipment. The computing system analyzes received data to detect a signal quality problem or error in the digital radio broadcast signals received at the first and second monitoring equipment.

    摘要: Dynamic television audience measurement systems (AMS) and methods are disclosed. The system comprises a central level AMS sub-system, a local node level AMS sub-system, a plurality of client level AMS sub-systems, and a plurality of display devices, each monitored by a client level AMS sub-system. The central level AMS sub-system receives panel definitions from panel requestors and transmits the panel definitions to and receives a merged viewership report from the local node level AMS sub-system. The local node level AMS sub-system receives panel definitions from and transmits the merged viewership report to the central level AMS sub-system, transmits the panel definitions to and receives viewership reports from the plurality of client level AMS sub-systems, and merges the viewership reports into the merged viewership report. Each client level AMS sub-systems receives panel definitions from and transmits the viewership report to the local node level AMS sub-system and compiles the viewership report.
