According to other features, an oil propeller wheel (202) is mounted around a shaft (20) in the power transfer device for rotation therewith. The oil propeller wheel (202) communicates with the lubrication in the lubricant reservoir (82) and is operable to direct the lubricant from the lubricant reservoir (82) axially along the shaft toward the differential assembly.
