The rotation of the cylindrical body is entrusted to two sets of belts arranged at the ends of the cylindrical body. The apparatus includes the device, a press and a kiln. The invention allows to drive large rotating cylindrical bodies with a system which is simple, cheap and reliable.

The positive-displacement pump and the flywheel are mounted on the same shaft (11) by means of a connecting body (5). A flywheel containment structure (8), suitable for retaining the flywheel even in case of accidental breakage, and a motion transmission element are provided. The containment structure rigidly supports a pair of seats (7,9) for the bearings of the shaft. The liquid flow is directed by closing a first valve means (20). A hydraulic circuit comprises a distribution valve unit (36, 38) connected with the delivery line (19). A plurality of pressure lines (23, 40) are connected with the distribution valve unit (36, 38). A hydraulic pressing apparatus, operates with an open hydraulic circuit (31, 32, 33, 18, 16, 19, 23, 10, 15). The apparatus comprises a flywheel (22) for accumulating kinetic energy, first valve means (20) to discharge the flow of the pump (16) to the tank (31). The invention allows energy savings, high speed and reliability.

The present invention relates to a process for the dry pressing of a granular or powdery material, to a device suitable to be used to perform pressing and to a pressing apparatus which comprises the device. The process according to the invention comprises a step during which the depth of the mold is changed and the upper surface of the material contained in the mold is leveled simultaneously. The device comprises a base, a body for supporting the lower mold and a plurality of hydraulic cylinders and pistons which are supplied by a flow divider element. The invention allows to obtain any profile of distribution of the material in the mold, in the direction of the leveling means, so as to compensate inadequacies in distribution.
