    摘要: The present invention addresses method, apparatus and computer program product for handling of secondary scheduling request in carrier aggregation. Thereby, a message comprising a request of radio resources for uplink transmission from the user equipment to a base station is composed, it is determined whether the user equipment is in a carrier aggregation mode in which two or more carriers are aggregated forming one primary cell and at least one secondary cell, the primary cell and at least one secondary cell supporting physical uplink control channel, the message is assigned to a physical uplink control channel, wherein assigning is permitted to the physical uplink control channel of the primary cell and a physical uplink control channel of any of the at least one secondary cell, and transmission of the message is caused using the assigned physical uplink control channel.

    摘要: Improved mechanisms for wireless cellular access using coverage extension techniques are described. A UE needing to use coverage extension to request access to a prospective serving cell detects cells (other than the prospective serving cell) on its frequency, and then investigates each such cell (for example, by attempting to read its system information block and, if the system information block can be read, determining if the cell supports access using coverage extension. If detected cells do not support coverage extension, the UE does not use coverage extension techniques to request access, but if all detected cells support coverage extension, the UE requests access using coverage extension techniques.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for control of a device with coexisting radios and capable of carrier aggregation are disclosed. A change in the activation status of a secondary cell can be determined where after interference information to be reported is determined in response to the determined change. The determined interference information is compared to interference information reported previously for a similar change, and a decision is made based thereon whether to send the determined interference information. In a network entity interference information received from at least one device is stored. The stored interference information is used in the control when it is determined that no interference information is received subsequent to a new change in the activation status of the secondary cell.

    摘要: In a random access procedure, a downlink random access response indicates at least a timing advance for a component carrier or cell (CC/Cell) of a plurality of component carriers or cells, or a group of CCs/Cells, to which the timing advance applies. The eNB or UE then operate their radio on the indicated one CC/Cell synchronous with the timing advance. In various embodiments the random access response may also indicate an uplink resource granted to the user equipment, which lies on that same one or group of CCs/Cells. There may be an explicit indication of a single bit indicating a timing advance group; a CC/Cell/group index whose presence in the response is indicated by a flag bit; a CC/Cell/group index in the response is known from the response's format whether it includes such an index, where the format indication can be via a bit in the response itself or RRC signaling or implicit from the RACH and cross-carrier scheduling being configured.

A technique is provided for controlling a response by a mobile station (MS) to a radio link failure detected by the MS in a dual connectivity wireless network in which the MS is connected to both a master base station (master BS) associated with a primary cell and a secondary base station (secondary BS) associated with a secondary cell. The MS may detect a radio link failure for a radio link between the MS and the secondary BS. In response to detecting the radio link failure, the MS may perform one of several preconfigured responses, or the MS may notify the master BS of the radio link failure, receive an instruction from the master BS, and then perform operations or respond to the radio link failure according to the received instruction.
