    摘要: A method for calibrating and converting colours of a digital image into printer specific colorant control values is disclosed. This method comprises the steps of calibrating a specific printer of a printer type according to a printer type specific procedure, wherein for each colorant separately a one-dimensional relationship between a printer tone value and a colorant control value is established; profiling the printer type to establish an output profile that defines a relationship between colour values in a profile connecting colour space and the printer tone values; deriving from the input profile and the output profile a one-dimensional relationship between a black channel and the black printer tone value of the printer; determining if an image colour value is to be converted either by using the profiles or by using the one-dimensional relation; converting the image colour value and subsequently using the printer calibration relations to obtain the colorant control values. This procedure enables the use of G7 colours in a printer that is limited in its amount of colorant that can be applied locally.

    摘要: The present invention provides a low costs sheet transport apparatus comprising an endless air permeable belt (101). An endless protrusion (102) is secured onto the belt and extending a predetermined height out of the surface of the belt. A plurality of rollers (110-113) comprising a driving roller (110) driveable by means of an actuator (122) and at least one support roller (111-113) positioned with respect to the driving roller to tension the belt over the plurality of rollers, such that a rotation of the driving roller moves the belt in a transport direction (D) is provided. At least one of the plurality of rollers comprises an endless recess (115) dimensioned to receive the protrusion, such that the protrusion is substantially prevented from transferring driving forces in the transport direction from the plurality of rollers to the belt. The protrusion is suspended within the recess such that it is prevented from transferring forces in the transport direction to belt.
