摘要:
A handle assembly for use in the deployment of a medical device via a plurality of deployment lines that extend through a catheter. The handle assembly includes a plurality of removable members for deployment or actuation of the medical device. The handle assembly also includes an actuating mechanism for displacing a wire extending through the catheter for actuating the medical device independently of the plurality of removable members.

A multi-component endovascular stent-graft system (10) includes a body portion (16), which includes a plurality of stent-grafts (20), which include: (a) respective stent members (22), which are shaped, when the stent-grafts (20) are in respective radially-expanded states, so as to define respective tubes, each of which is circumferentially complete at at least one longitudinal location therealong; and (b) respective graft members (24), which circumscribe respective circumferential arcs (40) of the respective stent members (22). The circumferential arcs (40) have respective extents that are less than entire circumferences of the respective stent members (22) at least partially along respective axial lengths of the stent members (22).
摘要:
A compressible and expandable stent assembly for implantation in a body lumen such as a mitral valve, the stent assembly including at least one stent barrel that is shaped and sized so that it allows for normal operation of adjacent heart structures. One or more stent barrels can be included in the stent assembly, where one or more of the stent barrels can include a cylinder with a tapered edge.

A system for the treatment of body passageways; in particular, vessels with vascular disease, the system includes an endovascular graft with a low-profile delivery configuration and a deployed configuration in which it conforms to the morphology of the vessel or body passageway to be treated as well as various connector members and stents. The graft is made from an inflatable graft body section and may be bifurcated. One or more inflatable cuffs may be disposed at either end of the graft body section. At least one inflatable channel is disposed between and in fluid communication with the inflatable cuffs.
摘要:
The present embodiments provide a stent for use in a medical procedure that comprises a series of proximal apices disposed at a proximal end of the stent and a series of distal apices disposed at a distal end of the stent. A trigger wire is adapted to be coupled to at least one of the proximal apices to restrain a proximal end of the stent during delivery. In a first embodiment, a first proximal apex comprises a bore for receiving the trigger wire, and a second proximal apex, disposed adjacent to the first proximal apex, comprises at least one barb. The trigger wire therefore is only coupled to selected ones of the proximal apices. In an alternative embodiment, a first proximal apex comprises a first bore and a second, adjacent proximal apex comprises a second bore, such that a single trigger wire may be disposed through the first and second bores to restrain the first and second proximal apices during delivery.

The radially deformable tubular prosthesis (10) comprises a lattice (12) that can be deformed between a retracted state of a reduced diameter and a dilated state of a larger diameter. The prosthesis comprises at least two outer hooks (18) that, between them, delimit an anchoring clip (6) in an outer tissue, these two hooks (18) being supported by the lattice (12) and able to be displaced between a spread position in which the clip (16) is open and a close position in which the clip (16) is closed.
摘要:
Method and apparatus for utilizing the vascular system as a conduit to reach other vascular and extravascular locations within the body. Included are methods for revascularization wherein the extravascular passageways are formed to permit blood flow between vascular locations. Also included are methods for performing transvascular interstitial surgery (TVIS) wherein extravascular passageways are formed from a blood vessel to another vascular or non-vascular intracorporeal location. Also disclosed are devices usable for forming extravascular passageways in accordance with the invention, or for modifying, valving, maintaining or closing such passageways.
