Around each middle part (16, 17) are concentrically arranged six hollow cylindrical containers (3-8; 9-14). Each container is longer than the previous one by always the same amount. Both parts are symmetrical with respect to the plan of rotation. In an initial ordered state, the containers of one part contain each between one and six balls of the same color (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24), the balls of each pair of containers having a different color. By turning both parts against each other and by tilting the toy, one creates a state of disorder out of the initial ordered state. The original ordered state is then to be re-established by rotating as appropriate both parts against each other and by tilting the toy, in as few steps as possible.
