The method comprises: a) covering a mold surface (9) with a peel-off layer (10), b) providing a layup (13) of fiber material on top of the peel-off layer (10), c) curing a resin impregnating the fiber material to form the component (5), and d) peeling the peel-off layer (10) off the component (5). The method is advantageous in that it avoids sanding or sandblasting of a cured blade to remove a release agent adhering to the blade surface.
