This tripping device finds application in a switch contact arrangement with a plurality of switch contacts (1) arranged adjacent to one another wherein the lever element (23) consists of an adjusting shaft that extends parallel to the axis (15) of the tripping shaft (14) and on which are arranged a plurality of adjusting arms (24) corresponding to the number of switch contacts.

    摘要： A switching chamber housing is disclosed for a power switch with a double turning contact breaker. The switching chamber housing (1) is composed of two housing modules (2, 3) and an extinguishing chamber (19) is arranged in the area of the fixed contact pieces (6, 7) to extinguish the arcs which are formed between the contact pieces of the double turning contact breaker. In order to obtain a switching chamber housing (1) which is easy and economical to produce, with extinguishing chambers (19) which have a reproducible extinguishing behaviour once the switching chamber is assembled, the two housing modules (2, 3) are substantially L-shaped parts whose inner marginal surfaces (4, 5) face each other. The first parts (17, 18) of the housing, which correspond to the first branches of the L-shaped housing modules (2, 3), are designed as extinguishing chambers (19). Also disclosed are the housing modules (2, 3) used to produce such a switching chamber housing.

    摘要： A switch assembly includes first and second contact members which are operatively provided to take one of two positions, a break-position in which the first and second contact members are separated from each other, and a make-position in which the first and second contact members are electrically connected with each other. Magnetic members are provided operatively in association with the first and second contact members to define a closed magnetic loop with a current path extending through the loop, when the first and second contact members are turned to the make-position. The magnetic members attract each other by the magnetic flux through the closed loop to maintain the first and second contacts in the make-position when the current flowing through the current path is not zero. Thus, the first and second contact members are permitted to return to the break-position at a zero crossing point of a.c. current flowing through the contacts.
