摘要:
Systems and methods for interacting with virtual objects in a three-dimensional space using a wearable system are disclosed. The wearable system can be programmed to allow a user to interact with virtual objects using a user input device and poses. The wearable system can also automatically determine contextual information such as layout of the virtual objects in the user's environment and switch the user input mode based on the contextual information.

A method of calculating the difference between a device clock and a host clock over a communication network is provided. In a preferred embodiment, the method comprises: a.) sending a sync requests over the communication network; b.) storing in memory a sent host time TH0 when the sync requests was sent; c.) receiving a local time report over a communication network from a local device; d.) storing in memory a device local time X extracted from the local time report; e.) storing in memory a receive host time TH3 when the local time report was received; f.) calculating T such that T=(TH0+TH3)/2; repeating steps a through f a plurality of times; and calculating coefficients Ai and Bi using linear regression after repeating steps a through f at least twice where X=Ai*T+Bi.

In an information processing apparatus, a control unit includes a first clock device for providing the time of day. A physical domain includes a second clock device, and implements a logical domain that functions as a virtual information processing apparatus. The control unit controls a first time-of-day difference between the time of day of the first clock device and that of the second clock device. The physical domain controls a second time-of-day difference between the time of day of the second clock device and that of the logical domain. In the information processing apparatus, the time of day on the logical domain is controlled based on the first and second time-of-day differences.

The invention relates to transferring of a time of day value between network elements of a data transfer network. In this invention it has been surprisingly detected that the phase reference signals available to various network elements can be utilized in the synchronization of time of day values between these network elements. In the solution according to the invention, a first network element sends to a second network element a difference variable (401, 402, 403) that indicates how much the timing phase of the time of day value maintained in the first network element differs from the timing phase of the phase reference signal available to the first network element. In the second network element that receives the message, an estimate of the time of day value is formed (404, 405) based on the difference variable and the timing phase of the phase reference signal available to the second network element.
