摘要:
A digital data reproducing system which carries out quantization by the frequency over the transmission rate with respect to waveform distortion created by a group delay caused by ghost and repeater or the like when digital information signals are received to thereby perform waveform equalization, and which carries out interpolation computation to thereby enable data reproduction about equivalent to that quantized by an ideal sampling timing, thus realizing entire digitization of the data reproducing system.

Matrix arrays, in particular infra-red arrays, suffer from non-uniformity in output from the individual elements in the array. This is due to each element in the array having for example, its own characteristic responsivity and leakage current, and is seen in the array output as a pattern of offset values. These offset values must be removed from the output of the array if useful digital information is to be obtained. One known method of doing this is to show the array a black body at a known uniform temperature and use the output from the array to cancel the offset values. However, the dynamic range of the system is directly related to the range of offset values obtained and also to the size of the digitiser. Large-size digitisers have relatively slow sampling rates and in order to have a higher sampling rate, a small-size digitiser must be used. The signal processing system described herein corrects for offset values and is able to provide a high sampling rate by using a small-size digitiser.

A solid-state imaging apparatus having a two- dimensional array (1) of photosensors such as photo diodes and MOS type FETs through which the photo signals are read out when scanned by pulse generator (2). The apparatus enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the output signal by reducing or eliminating noise components which mix with the photo signals. An analysis of the noise components has revealed a correlation in that a noise component of a certain polarity develops in the opposite polarity again after a period that is shorter than one horizontal scanning period by the duration of one horizontal scanning pulse. With note taken of the correlation, the solid-state imaging apparatus includes a delay circuit (62) and an adder circuit (63) which cancels the noise.
