The outer wall as well as the inner wall may be built from multiple pieces. The mounting means may comprise a single pocket or two pockets which are located at opposite sides of the inner wall. The inner wall may have an opening at this position. The device may be a passive or active device such as a magnet, a radio receiver/transmitter or a sensor. An electric wire or antenna may be provided to be connected with the device.

A bladder shell for inflatable balls having at least a pair of layers of compounded synthetic latex and compounded natural rubber latex or at least a layer of blended synthetic latex and natural rubber latex compounded with anti-oxidant, activators, accelerators, thickening and wetting agents, stabilizers etc. to form a low air permeability and high bounce bladder shell having thickness of between 0.25mm to 3.0mm. The present invention also defines a process for the preparation of the bladder shell comprising formation of at least a layer of natural rubber latex and a synthetic latex each. The process of the present invention comprises dipping the former in not only a natural rubber latex bath but also in the synthetic latex bath. In an another embodiment, the process comprises dipping the former in the bath comprising blended natural rubber latex and synthetic latex.

A sewn ball includes an inner tube and a housing (4). The inner tube includes a tube body (1), a yarn layer (2) and a rubber layer (3), wherein the yarn layer is attached to an external surface of the tube body, the rubber layer is attached to an external surface of the yarn layer and is then vulcanized, in such a manner that a rubber raw material of the rubber layer permeates through yarn gaps of the yarn layer, so as to integrate the tube body, the yarn layer with the rubber layer. The housing (4) wraps around and is attached to the inner tube (1). The sewn ball provided by the present invention has excellent bouncing ability, high strength, good durability, small circumferential error, and excellent balance and flight stability.

[Problem] A ball is provided which bounces even if compressed air above atmospheric pressure is not blown into the inside of the ball. [Solution] On inner wall surfaces of a plurality of divisional bodies 1 and 11 configured of a soft material made of resin or rubber, many recessed parts 4 and 14 are formed as being surrounded by many linear protruding parts 3 and 13 to form triangles or shapes in a geometric pattern other than triangles. With this, the protruding parts exert a function equivalent to that as a bobbin to make a ball have uniform hardness as a whole, allowing user as a ball irrespectively of attaching a skin body formed separately from the plurality of divisional bodies 1 and 11 to an outer wall surface of the ball. On the other hand, divisional end parts of the divisional bodies 1 and 11 forming circular openings or flange parts 5 and 15 provided to the divisional end parts are welded or bonded together, and do not protrude outside from the outer wall surface of the ball, thereby allowing use at ease as a ball irrespectively of attaching a skin body.
