A spinner (A) for a toy top includes a rotation imparting means (B) for imparting rotation to a toy top (1), having a rack gear (13) and a pinion gear (20). The rack gear (13) is formed on one surface of a belt body (10) of an elongated plate-shape in such a manner that teeth of the rack gear (13) protrude from the surface of the belt body (10) and are arrayed in a longitudinal direction of the belt body (10). The belt body (10) includes a pair of protection plates (14a, 14b) which are disposed on the surface thereof so as to face each other across the teeth of the rack gear (13), the pair of protection plates (14a, 14b) each being formed to have a height from the surface of the belt body (10) equal to or greater than a height of the teeth of the rack gear (13).

摘要： A spinner for a toy top capable of imparting rotation in different directions (clockwise and counterclockwise directions) to the toy top by the same operation of pulling a string. The spinner (A) includes a spinner body (1), which includes a first gear (3) formed so as to have a string (7) wound therearound, a second gear (4) meshing with the first gear (3), and first and second toy top holders (5, 6) that rotate interlockingly with the second gear (4). The string (7) has one end attached to the first gear (3) and the other end extending to the outside of the spinner body (1) so as to be pulled from the outside. The first and second toy top holders (5, 6) each include a holding portion (23, 24) for holding the toy top (B). The holding portions (23, 24) protrude from upper and lower surfaces of the spinner body (1), respectively. The first and second toy top holders (5, 6) are adapted to rotate the toy top (B) in a clockwise direction and in a counterclockwise direction according to rotation of the second gear (4) by pulling the string (7).
