    摘要: A slack rope detecting apparatus for use in mine winding operations provides a trip signal via contacts 34 if the load in the rope falls below a predetermined value. The apparatus senses the load at each side of a sheave wheel using transducers 6 and 8 and uses a mean value of their outputs as an input to a summation amplifier 12. The weight of the rope between the sheave wheel is compensated for by monitoring rotation of the winding engine drum 42 and providing corresponding input signals for the amplifier 12. When the effective load in the rope falls below a predetermined value, set by input 28, a trip signal is produced. The trip signal output is preferably visually displayed and recorded.

    摘要: A load-indicating device, e.g. an overload detector adapted to be placed between a load and a hoisting cable of a crane, consists of an annular member (I) of a high tensile steel, which is stressed by the load along a given axis - within its elastic limit - and is provided with an electric displacement transducer (III) placed between the portions of the annular member (I) with its displacement axis at right angles to the load vector (F, F′). The member (I) is elongated in proportion to the load acting on it, whereby the distance between the portions associated with the transducer (III) decreases, thus changing the output from the transducer (III) which obtains an input from a voltage source. This output is fed into an electric circuit (IV) adapted to indicate the actual weight of the load and/or to produce a warning signal and/or to stop the machinery at a dangerous overload.

    摘要: A fluid container measurement system employing a load cell linkage member is disclosed. The fluid container measurement system is configured to suspend a load measurement assembly a distance above a support surface. The load measurement assembly houses a load cell and a measurement control circuit. The measurement control circuit is coupled to the load cell and configured to receive electrical signals indicative of a force imposed on the load cell. The load measurement assembly also includes or is configured to receive a load cell linkage member mechanically linked to the load cell. In this manner, a load placed on the load cell linkage member will be exerted on the load cell. Electrical signals generated by the load cell indicative of the force exerted on the load cell can be used to measure the fluid container attached to the load cell linkage member.
