The present invention provides a test fluid measurement device that is capable of calibrating the sensitivity of a biosensor easily and in a short period of time. An output acquisition unit 51 acquires an output value from a urinary sugar sensor 2, which measures the amount of urinary sugar in a test fluid, when a reference fluid, whose urinary sugar component is set to a specified density, is applied to the urinary sugar sensor 2. Disclosed is an apparatus for measurement of a living body, comprising: a personal data input unit; a visceral fat area input unit; an arithmetic unit; a comparison unit; and a display unit. According to the invention the personal data input unit enters at least an age of a person to be measured, the visceral fat area input unit enters a visceral fat area of the person to be measured, and the arithmetic unit calculates the basal metabolism of the person to be measured. Furthermore, the comparison unit compares the visceral fat area entered by said input unit with the basal metabolism calculated by the arithmetic unit. Then, the display unit displays the result of comparison.
