Le procede empeche la formation d'un film nuisible de soufre elementaire sur le minerai ou concentre resultant en des tensions pour la cellule et en une recuperation selective du plomb moindres.

The base (18) is inserted into the retaining bracket (19) which is mounted on the furnace wall. The parallel layering of the ceramic fiber blankets permits the use of highly refractory blankets nearthe hot face and insulating blankets near the furnace wall.

    The shaft (3) and the discs (4 and 5) are rotated in the same direction as the wheels (2) of the cultivator, but a different peripheral speed. As a result of the difference in peripheral speeds of the wheels (2) and the discs (4 and 5), the cables (6) are caused to cultivate the ground. However, as the discs (4 and 5) are rotated in the same direction as the wheels (2), any weeds or other material dislodged by the movement of the cables (6) will be carried rearwardly by the cables (6) and deposited behind the cables (6), thus avoiding a build-up of unwanted material in front of the cultivator.

    Shock and vibration responsive switches commonly employ a seismic element mounted on two parallel rods for indicating a break in an electrical circuit connected to the rods. These switches occasionally operate because foreign matter lodges between the element and one of the rods.
    These false alarms can be avoided by mounting two or more seismic elements (25) on rods (18) which are bent so as to provide concave surfaces (24) which support the elements (25) so that they remain in contact with each other, thus providing additional conductive paths between the rods (18).
    Although all of the elements (25) would simultaneously lift off at least one of the rods (18) when subjected to shock or vibration, it is unlikely that this condition would result from foreign matter.
    Where the elements (25) are ferro-magnetic, they can be mounted on straight rods (19) and urged together by a magnetic field.

    摘要: A control system for selectively communicating a plurality of sensors (17) with associated remote control devices (19, 20) includes a Master Synchronizer (10), a transmitter (11, 12) for each sensor and a receiver (13 14a) for each control device. A single signal line (14) is connected to all transmitters (11, 12) and receivers (13, 14a), and a single synchronization line (15) couples the Master Synchronizer (10) to all transmitters and receivers. The Master Synchronizer (10) generates a time frame signal which has a reset portion for resetting all transmitters and receivers synchronously at the start of each frame, and a periodic portion which determines the time slots for each frame and which decrements counters (31, 38) in all transmitters and receivers synchronously. A time division multiplex system is used to communicate each transmitter with one or more associated receivers during a predetermined time slot of a periodic time frame determined by the Master Synchronizer.
