摘要:
A method can include receiving data that characterizes anisotropy of a formation; receiving a model that models one or more planes of weakness in an anisotropic formation; and, based at least in part on the model and the data, outputting information germane to stability of a bore in an anisotropic formation.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for processing geomechanical data. The method may include receiving a three-dimensional model of a subterranean volume that includes a reservoir, and determining, using a processor, one or more hydraulic fracture performance attributes of the subterranean volume based in part on the model. The method may also include determining a completion quality for one or more locations in the subterranean volume based at least in part on the one or more hydraulic fracture performance attributes.

A method including the steps of: providing a finite element grid described with respect to a lateral coordinate axis and a depth coordinate axis to model a multilayer sedimentary basin (510); coarsening the finite element grid with respect to the lateral coordinate axis to provide a coarsened finite element grid (520); performing a backstripping and forward simulation cycle using the coarsened finite element grid to provide geometry and porosity results for the model of the multilayer sedimentary basin (530); refining the finite element grid with respect to the lateral coordinate axis to provide a refined finite element grid (540); and performing backstripping and forward simulation cycle using the refined finite element grid and at least the porosity results to provide enhanced geometry and porosity results for the model of the multilayer sedimentary basin (550).

A method for local data visibility is disclosed. The method includes detecting data items in a local data repository located in a local environment. In response to the detecting, a computer processor of the local environment collects metadata describing the data items in the local data repository. The metadata includes a project identifier. The metadata is then transmitted, separate from the data items, to a data manager of a database, where the database is accessible by multiple local environments. Accordingly, the data manager determines, based on the project identifier, a synchronization status of the data items in the local data repository, where the synchronization status represents a relationship between the data items in the local data repository and exploration and production data in the database. The data manager further generates, according to a predetermined data management scheme, an alert based on the synchronization status.

A method for context transfer for data storage is disclosed. The method includes receiving, from an analysis environment, a request to load a data item for analysis, creating, based on the request, a task request including context information of the data item, transmitting the task request to a data manager environment, receiving, from the data manager environment, an approval of the task request based on the context information, and loading the data item in a master data store in response to the approval.
