According to the solutions in this application, a rate of a data stream can be prevented from being increased when the data stream is congested, and packet transmission efficiency is improved.

The method includes: receiving, by a network node, a service data packet; searching, by the network node, a forwarding table according to an aggregation identifier, to obtain next-hop information, where the aggregation identifier is used to identify service data flows of one type, where the service data flows have a same network requirement type and a same destination, and the forwarding table includes the aggregation identifier and the next-hop information corresponding to the aggregation identifier; and forwarding, by the network node, the service data packet according to the obtained next-hop information. The embodiments of the present invention can significantly reduce a quantity of routing entries of a service routing node, reduce operation complexity, and improve routing and forwarding efficiency of a system.

The present invention discloses a method, system and device for packet routing, and a method and system for choosing backup resources. The method for packet routing includes: updating busy levels of nodes at predetermined intervals; and choosing a packet receiving node according to a Distributed Hash Table (DHT) algorithm and the busy levels of nodes and sending a packet to the chosen packet receiving node. The system for packet routing includes a sending node and a routing node. The method for choosing backup resources includes: a state advertising node broadcasts the busy level of the local node to other nodes in one multicast group; and a backup resource choosing node chooses a proxy node according to the received busy levels of nodes. The system for choosing backup resources includes a state advertising node and a backup resource choosing node. With the present invention, a node chooses a packet receiving node with reference to the busy levels of nodes in its routing table, which balances the loads among the nodes and avoids the happening of network congestion.
