A shampoo composition comprising from about 5 % to about 50 % of one or more detersive surfactants, by weight of said shampoo composition; at least about 20 % of an aqueous carrier, by weight of said shampoo composition; a dispersed pre formed gel network phase comprising at least about 0.05 % of one or more fatty amphiphiles, by weight of said shampoo composition, wherein said fatty amphiphile, or a mixture of two or more of said fatty amphiphiles, has a melting point of at least 27 °C and is selected from the group consisting of fatty amides, fatty alkanolamides, fatty alkoxylated amides, and mixtures thereof; the gel network phase also comprises at least about 0.01 % of one or more secondary surfactants, by weight of said shampoo composition and water.

The present invention provides an oral composition comprising microcrystalline cellulose, and one or more surface active agents selected from the group consisting of alkyl glucoside, polyglycerin fatty acid ester, sucrose fatty acid ester and betaine, which has an excellent shape-holding ability and dispersibility in an oral cavity, does not change a taste of juice after teeth brushing, in addition, has excellent stability with time not causing solid-liquid separation. Moreover, the present invention provides an oral composition comprising a cationic antimicrobial agent and microcrystalline cellulose, which can effectively prevent an oral cavity disease such as a periodontal disease, dental caries and the like by enhancing an ability of the cationic antimicrobial agent to reside on a tooth surface.

The antimicrobial composition of the present invention comprises a cationic active ingredient, a foam boosting surfactant, a foam boosting copolymer, a foam stabilizer, and a chelating agent. The present antimicrobial compositions are free of the antimicrobial agent triclosan (i.e., 2,4,4′-trichloro-2′hydroxy-diphenylether), have rapid cidal activity, provide stable copious foam and exhibit enhanced tissue (e.g. skin) compatibility as defined by an in vitro whole toxicology assessment method.

The present invention concerns a cleaning-agent composition of which the surface comprises a powder which is hydrophobic, and more specifically, relates to a cleaning-agent composition in which the alkyl group of a surfactant attached to the surface is oriented towards an outermost shell, and of which the surface comprises a powder modified so as to be hydrophobic. When using the cleaning-agent composition of the present invention, of which the surface comprises a powder modified so as to be hydrophobic, it is possible to minimise the anionic surfactant content and to produce a cleaning agent having outstanding cleaning power and foaming power even while minimising irritation of the skin.

The present invention relates to a process for straightening and frizz reduction of hair which leaves hair in one part straight and volumeless and the remaining part may still have the curly appearance but not frizzy at all. It has been found out when treating hair at the parts where the straight appearance is preferred with a composition comprising higher concentration of hair straightening ingredient and straightening the said part with an iron at relatively higher temperature and treating the remaining parts with a composition comprising the same straightening ingredient at a lower concentration and treating the said parts with an iron at relatively lower temperature provides hair structures which appear to be straight and with low volume in one part which is the part closer to the scalp and, curly and voluminous but not frizzy at the remaining parts which is usually the lengths.
