    摘要： A searching system may include a primary server with interfaces for communication with databases or with underlying search engines. The primary server may be adapted to receive a search query from a client under instructions from a user; and retrieve search results and transmit the results as a response to the client. The primary server may be adapted to store search data sets of relevant results for queries by users who are member of the set. The primary server may be adapted to select a search data set of which the user for the query is a member, and to use said search data set in providing the response to the query. The primary server may be adapted to download data concerning the selected search data set to the user. The primary server may be adapted to automatically update the search data set according to the results selected by the user.

In accordance with one implementation, log data pertaining to a plurality of queries may be received over an electronic network. A click graph (200) may be generated representing one or more relationships between the queries. Further, temporal similarities may be identified between the queries, for example, by looking at peaks in frequency of queries over time ( Fig.3 ). A pair of search queries may be evaluated based on the generated click graph and the identified temporal similarities to determine whether the queries in the pair are related.

The template specifies at least a first set of previously recorded data and a second set previously recorded data. The second set of previously recorded data described a second data source, second operation data, and second result structure data. The second operation data is used in performing a second data operation on said second data source and producing second results in accordance with said second result structure data. The second operation data specifies a data element included in said first results. In response to receiving said request, processing operations are performed in accordance with said template producing final results in accordance with at least one of said first results and said second results. Also described are a method, system and computer program product for linking related data records. An element is selected from a user interface. The element displays data associated with a first record representing an instance of a collection of data about a first subject. A request is issued in response to said selecting. The request specifies a second subject and a key value. The key value is used in identifying a related record from other records associated with said second subject. A collection of data is searched using search criteria including said second subject and said key value to identify said related record in said collection. A response is returned which includes data corresponding to said related record. Also described is a method and computer program product for linking a first record associated with a first subject with a related record associated with a second subject. Information is recorded while performing steps in connection with generation of a first record. The information includes a first data used in defining a hyperlink included in said first record, said hyperlink which, when selected, causes invocation of program which is passed parameters identifying said second subject and including a value of a key. The information is stored in a template used in generating a second record at a later point in time.

    摘要： A method, a search platform, a system and a storage medium for handling queries in a database system are disclosed. The database system includes at least one client and at least one search platform. The search platform maintains pre-collected search results which are associated which confidence factors. A confidence factor indicates a probability of the associated pre-collected search result being valid. The search platform receives a query indicating at least one search criterion to the search platform. The confidence factors associated with the identified pre-collected search results are utilized to increase the mean probability of pre-collected search results returned to the client of being valid. For example, pre-collected search results complying with the at least one search criterion and being associated with confidence factors having values exceeding a given threshold are returned to the client.
