    摘要: A noise reduction circuit for a hearing aid having an adaptive filter for producing a signal which estimates the noise components present in an input signal. The circuit includes a second filter for receiving the noise-estimating signal and modifying it as a function of a user's preference or as a funtion of an expected noise environment. The circuit also includes a gain control for adjusting the magnitude of the modified noise-estimating signal, thereby allowing for the adjustment of the magnitude of the circuit response. The circuit also includes a signal combiner for combining the input signal with the adjusted noise-estimating signal to produce a noise reduced output signal.

    摘要: The present application provides an acoustic echo mitigation apparatus and method, an audio processing apparatus and a voice communication terminal. According to an embodiment, an acoustic echo mitigation apparatus is provided, including: an acoustic echo canceller for cancelling estimated acoustic echo from a microphone signal and outputting an error signal; a residual echo estimator for estimating residual echo power; and an acoustic echo suppressor for further suppressing residual echo and noise in the error signal based on the residual echo power and noise power. Here, the residual echo estimator is configured to be continuously adaptive to power change in the error signal. According to the embodiments of the present application, the acoustic echo mitigation apparatus and method can, at least, be well adaptive to the change of power of the error signal after the AEC processing, such as that caused by change of double-talk status, echo path properties, noise level and etc.

    摘要: Reduction of noise in a device having a console with one or more microphones and a source of narrow band distributed noise located on the console is disclosed. A microphone signal containing a broad band distributed desired sound and narrow band distributed noise is divided amongst a plurality of frequency bins. For each frequency bin, it is determined whether a portion of the signal within the frequency bin belongs to a narrow band distribution characteristic of the source of narrow band noise located on the console. Any frequency bins containing portions of the signal belonging to the narrow band distribution are filtered to reduce the narrow band noise.
