摘要:
The purpose of the present invention is not only to reduce ripple current but also to improve operation efficiency by reducing heat generation. When n is defined as an integer of 2 or more, a motor control device of the present invention drives n sets of windings by n sets of inverters. The motor control device is characterized in that when said n sets of inverters output high power, at least one or more of said n sets of inverters are set to have an output duty cycle of 100%.

The invention relates to a method and to an arrangement for reducing the torque ripple of a brushless DC motor (6) having a stator, a rotor, and a motor control unit, via which motor control unit the motor is controlled in a polyphase manner, having a data memory (1) for storing rotational angle-dependent correction data of the control current of the motor (6), which are impressed on the instantaneous values for controlling the motor. According to the invention, in a first step, for each position of the rotor, the phase currents holding the rotor in this position are determined and are used to derive reference current data, which is stored in a table of the data memory (19) together with the respective position data of the rotor, determined by the position sensor, and, in a second step, during continuous operation of the motor, the position-dependent reference current data stored in the data memory is combined with the control current of the motor. In a preferred refinement of the invention, the reference current data is conditioned in such a way that both outliers and noise are removed.

A motor controller, an electric power steering device using the motor controller, and a vehicle using the motor controller are provided. Even if an abnormality occurs at a motor drive circuit or a multiphase electric motor, the motor controller is capable of continuously driving and controlling the electric motor. The motor controller includes plural hardware sets configured to operate in a normal state and to output a motor current, a control operation device configured to control the plurality of hardware sets commonly, an electric motor configured to operate with motor current output from each of the plurality of hardware sets, and an abnormality diagnosis unit configured to diagnose an abnormality of each of the plurality of hardware sets. In the control device, when there is an abnormal hardware set that has been diagnosed by the abnormality diagnosis unit, the control operation device stops an operation of the abnormal hardware set that has been diagnosed, and continues driving of the electric motor with a normal hardware set.

The present invention provides a device and a method for changing over an electric machine from the regular operating mode into the open-circuit mode. In order to avoid excessive increases in voltage and associated adverse effects on the electric machine and the other components, in particular batteries, a further control phase is introduced between the end of the regular operating mode and the freewheeling mode, during which further control phase the voltage at the terminals of the electric machine is continuously adjusted from the voltage previously set in the regular operating mode to the expected open-circuit voltage of the electric machine.

A control apparatus includes a current detector which detects a current of a synchronous motor, a coordinate converter which coordinate-converts the current obtained from the current detector into a current on rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis) rotated at an angular frequency w, a current controller which outputs a voltage command on the rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis) such that a current on the rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis) follows a current command on the rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis), a coordinate converter which coordinate-converts the voltage command on the rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis) obtained from the current controller into three-phase voltage commands, an adaptive observer which calculates the angular frequency w, an estimated current of the synchronous motor, an estimated rotor magnetic flux, and an estimated rotational speed based on the current on the rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis) and the voltage command on the rotational biaxial coordinates (d-q axis), and an inverter which applies a voltage to the synchronous motor based on the voltage command. The adaptive observer calculates the angular frequency w such that a q-axis component of the estimated rotor magnetic flux is zero.

A motor drive system includes a motor, a motor control device, and a sensor that detects torque or acceleration of the motor. The motor control device includes an estimating unit configured to estimate at least one of speed and position of the motor, and a current control unit configured to control current to be supplied to the motor based upon an estimation result by the estimating unit. The estimating unit includes first and second estimating units, and derives an estimated value based upon estimation results by the first and second estimating units. The first estimating unit estimates based upon a detection signal detected by the sensor and a high-frequency component superimposed on an output current to the motor. The second estimating unit estimates from an estimation result of induced voltage of the motor.
