A swinging arm hold (8), designed to be attached between a window case (1) and a window frame (6) and comprising a basic bar (12), attached to the case, and an upper arm (11) and a lower arm (13), projecting from the ends of the basic bar, which two arms are rotatably attached to the uppermost part of an outer bar (9), which carries the frame. About the hinge between the basic bar and the upper arm a lock (18) having a lock recess (21) is mounted, rotatable in a limited way and designed to interact with a holding element (22), which projects from the lower arm. The lock recess is limited in its outermost part by guide surfaces (29, 30) for the holding element and its innermost part has an extension, which runs with an acute angle in relation to a line between any part of the recess and the swinging center (19) of the lock, mainly designed to, during the last part of the swinging movement of the frame, give the lock an idle position, which takes up less space, and allow the frame to occupy a somewhat further outwardly swung partially open position. From the disc-shaped lock an angled actuation means (35) projects outwards towards the center of the frame and constitutes one of the limits of a security recess (31), designed to limit the swinging movements of the lock.

Um eine Zusatzsicherung mit den eingangs genannten Merkmalen so zu verbessern, daß der Riegelantrieb keine ständige Verbindung zwischen dem Handgriff und dem Riegel (10) darstellt, wobei die Zusatzsicherung auch mit einem einzigen Riegel (10) auskommen kann, wird sie so ausgebildet, daß der Riegelantrieb und der Riegel (10) mit relativem Bewegungsspiel gekuppelt sind, das zumindest dem Unterschied der Riegelverschiebungen entsprechend bemessen ist.

Die Führungsschiene (22) ist einenends an einem der Teile (12, 16) schwenkbar gelagert. Sie nimmt in ihrer Nut (52) einen mit dem anderen Teil (12, 16) verbundenen Stift (48) gleitbar auf. Ferner ist eine längs der Führungsschiene (22) verschiebbare Kulisse (24) vorgesehen. Diese ist der art ausgebildet, daß sie in der Regel die Einbuchtung (54) der Führungsschiene (22) abdeckt und lediglich bei einer Arretierstellung freigibt. In der Arretierstellung kann der Stift (48) in die Einbuchtung (54) der Führungsschiene (22) eingreifen und sich an einer Seitenfläche (58) der Einbuchtung (54) abstützen. Beim Öffnen bzw. Schließen des Klappteiles (12) verschiebt sich die Kulisse (24) auf der Führungsschiene (22) infolge des Eingriffes des Stiftes (48). Zwischen Klappteil (12) und Aufnahmeteil (16) ist parallel zur Arretiervorrichtung (18) eine Gasfeder (20) angeordnet, die bestrebt ist, das Klappteil (12) in eine geöffnete Position zu bringen.

First and second mounting means (13 and 14) are respectively mountable on the closure element (11) and opening surround (12) with a stay (15) slidably and pivotably coupled to the second mounting means (14). Stay (15) is pivotably couplable by engagement means (22) to the first mounting means (13) and reteasabletherefrom by sliding stay (15) relative to mounting means (14) but only when the closure element is closed. Recoupling means (16, 24) automatically cause the engagement means (22) to couple to said first mounting means (13) when the closure (11) is moved into the closed position. The retaining means thus prevents closure element (11) from opening more than a predetermined amount unless the stay (15) is released from the first mounting means (13) prior to opening the closure element (11). If stay (15) is released it becomes automatically recoupled on closing the closure element.

The present invention relates to a support hinge of a vehicle hood, in particular for accessing to an engine compartment of an industrial or commercial vehicle. The hinge according to the invention defines a plane of rotation (P) and an open position and a closed position of said hood. Said hinge comprises a first flange and a second flange respectively connected to the body (20) and to the hood of the vehicle. The hinge (1) comprises also a locking plate (2) hinged to the first flange (11) and comprising a sliding guide (22) for a guide pin (31b) connected to the second flange (12). Such sliding guide (22) comprises at least an engagement portion (24b), suitable to engage said guide pin (31b) when said second flange (12) reaches a predetermined position with respect to said first flange, in order to block said hood (10) in open position.
