The systems and methods can include an emergency police, emergency fire, and/or emergency medical dispatch protocol configured to facilitate rapid, uniform, and consistent handling of communications. The emergency dispatch protocol presents a pre-scripted interrogation, including preprogrammed inquiries for a dispatcher to ask the person needing assistance. The emergency dispatcher may be able to easily send preprogrammed inquiries to the person needing assistance via SMS/MMS message and provide their responses to the emergency dispatch protocol quickly and/or automatically. The dispatch protocol may facilitate quick deployment of responders even if the person needing assistance cannot talk and/or hear.

A fire alarm system 4 for a structure, has a two-wire interconnected transceiver 4J that uses power line carrier technology to inject a radio signal onto two power conductors, 6B & 6W. The transceiver 4J includes a transmitter circuit 7 and a receiver circuit 9. The transmitter circuit 7 includes a trigger circuit 10, attachable to an output line of a local fire alarm 5. The trigger circuit 10, can monitor the output line (6 Yellow) for an alarm condition output signal, for the purpose of sensing an alarm condition. The transmitter circuit 7 responds to the alarm condition output signal by injecting the radio signal onto the two power conductors. The radio signal would activate a second fire alarm system 4B attached to power lines in the structure.

The present invention provides a digital linear heat detector with thermocouple heat confirmation. A digital linear heat detector with thermocouple heat confirmation comprises a first conductor and a second conductor, the first conductor composed of a different conductive material than the second conductor. The first and second conductors are then are twisted together to form substantially continuous spring pressure between the first conductor and the second conductor, thereby causing the layers of the non-conductive heat sensitive thermoplastic material to be in contact. The present invention also includes a monitoring circuit that is configured to monitor resistance along the first and second conductors. When the resistance changes along the first and second conductors, the monitor is configured to detect a short and enter a thermocouple mode. By entering the thermocouple mode, the monitoring circuit is able to identify the temperature at the short and determine the type of alarm condition being created by the short based on a predetermined temperature threshold.

Die Temperaturmesseinrichtung (125) ist in dem Mikrocontroller (120) integriert und der Mikrocontroller (120) ist derart eingerichtet, dass bei der Auswertung des Messsignals das Temperaturmesssignal mit berücksichtigt wird. Bevorzugt ist die Messeinrichtung eine optische Messeinrichtung, welche einen Lichtsender (110) und einen Lichtempfänger (115) aufweist. Es wird ferner ein entsprechendes Verfahren zum Erkennen einer Gefahrensituation beschrieben. A fire alarming method based on data fusion comprises steps of : using at least one temperature sensor to detect and generate two nonequivalent values of the first electric parameter and the second electric parameter at a certain moment; transmitting the values of the two nonequivalent electric parameters detected at the moment to an electrical signal measuring device; and calculating a function value at this moment by a data fusing device according to a predetermined function which includes at least the said first electric parameter and the said second electric parameter; then comparing the obtained function value with a predetermined value; determining whether a fire alarming signal is to be emitted according to the compared result; if required, activating the fire alarming device. Also using two temperature sensors to detect and generate two nonequivalent values of the first electric parameter and the second electric parameter respectively is available. And detecting successively two nonequivalent values of the first electric parameter and the second electric parameter at two different moments is also available.
