    Abstract: A method for selecting, at a terminal, a tile amongst a set of tiles associated with a multimedia content divided into a plurality of tile segments requested by the terminal, said multimedia content being divided into a plurality of tile segments, comprises:
    - obtaining (601) a next position of a viewport of the terminal at the expiration of a current tile segment based on an estimation of a trajectory of the viewport;
    - identifying (602) one or several tiles amongst the set of tiles comprising at least the viewport at the next position;
    - for each identified tile, determining (603) at least one processing parameter depending on at least the center of the identified tile and the next position of the viewport;
    - selecting (604) an identified tile for which the determined processing parameter meets a selection criterion.

    Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a device for generating and guiding nanojets beams from an incident electromagnetic wave on said device. The device is remarkable in that it comprises:
    - a first layer of a dielectric material having a first refractive index value ( n 1 );
    - a second layer of a dielectric material having a second refractive index value ( n 2 ), wherein said second refractive index value is greater than said first refractive index value; and wherein a first boundary between said first and second layers comprises a first single step shape structure, said first single step shape structure being a change of level that is defined sensibly according to a first straight line being associated with an angle of inclination close to a first angle of inclination, wherein said device further comprising a dielectric element comprised in an embedding layer, said embedding layer being either said first layer or said second layer, said dielectric element having a refractive index ( n 3 ), higher than the one from said embedding layer, and
    wherein a second boundary between said dielectric element and said embedding layer comprises a second single step shape structure, said second single step shape structure being a change of level that is defined sensibly by a second straight line being associated with an angle of inclination close to a second angle of inclination, and wherein said second single step shape structure is positioned at the vicinity of said first single step shape structure for focusing nanojets beams generated by each of said first and second single step shape structures around a first focusing point.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for improving the performance of video encoders and decoders involves selecting a set of transforms from among a plurality of sets of transforms that can be used for coding blocks in a region of a video image. Within a region, selection of a particular transform from among a plurality of transforms comprising the selected set of transforms is used to encoder or decode at least one block in the region. Associated indices representing the set of transforms to be used within a region and the selected transform for a block can be sent in a bitstream. In an alternate embodiment, a default set of transforms is complemented by selection of an additional set of transforms on a block or region basis.
