Abstract: The invention relates to a foam material that is produced from a hydrophobic or oloephobic, open-pored foam matrix. Said matrix is impregnated with a substance consisting essentially of a polyvinylidene halide (co)polymer, which can optionally contain additional substituents and also optionally of a fluorocarbon resin and/or a silicone resin. The invention also relates to a method for producing said foam material.
