摘要:
A filler-containing polypropylene resin composition comprises (a) from 27 to 87% by weight of a polypropylene resin, (b) from 3 to 15% by weight of a modified polypropylene resin containing from 0.1 to 3 mol% of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride repeating unit, (c) from 5 to 30% by weight of an ethylene copolymer (melt index 0.5 to 800) composed of 82 to 98.7 mol% of an ethylene repeating unit, 1 to 15 mol% of an ester repeating unit which is Cl-8 alkyl acrylate or methacrylate, and from 0.3 to 3 mol% of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride repeating unit, and (d) from 5 to 40% by weight of a filler which may have an organosilane coating. The composition can be made by melt-kneading all the components, but preferably by melt-mixing components (a), (b), and (d) and then melt-mixing the resulting mixture with component (c). The resin composition has excellent finishing properties, including adhesion, coating properties, and printability, as well as improved rigidity and thermal properties for use e.g. as automobile parts.

A moldable composition comprises by weight (1) 50 to 97% of a crystalline propylene-ethylene copolymer, e.g. a block copolymer, (2) optionally 0 to 20% of a rubbery material, e.g. an ethylene-propylene or -butene rubber, and (3) 3 to 50% of mica having an average particle diameter determined by photo extinction and sedimentation of 0.5 to 4.5 µ (microns) and a particle size distribution by wt of: The mica, preferably muscovite or phlogopite, is obtained by precise classification of natural mica, uncrushed or mechanically pulverized. The components are mixed and kneaded and the composition is extruded or molded to make parts of machinery or appliances; the products have good rigidity and impact strength and thermal stability.

A particulate polyolefin expansion molding material comprises a particulate polyolefin having a bulk density of 0.45 g/cc or more and a mean particle size of 150 to 2,000 µ. On the particulate surface of the polyolefin there is provided at least one layer comprising an expanding agent, a binder and a filler. The material can be used for producing expansion molded articles without previous pelletization.
