    摘要: A silent chain for restraining chordal action and improving noise and oscillation performance comprising a plurality of link plates each having a pair of teeth and pin apertures interlaced in link thickness and length directions and pivotably connected by connecting pins inserted in the pin apertures. Each of the teeth are formed of an inside flank and an outside flank. The inside flank of a first link plate projects from the outside flank of a second link plate whose one tooth overlaps a tooth of the first link plate when the chain is pulled straight. The inside flank and the outside flank are formed in such a way that 0.021 *P≤δmax≤0.063*p is satisfied where P is a chain pitch and δmax is a maximum projection of the inside flank of the first link plate relative to the outside flank of the adjacent second link plate.

    摘要: The present invention provides a blade-type tensioner system for a chain that can easily improve spring properties. The blade-type tensioner includes a blade shoe and a blade spring positioned on the back side of chain sliding surface of the blade shoe so as to impart tension to a chain through the blade shoe. The blade shoe is pivotably supported around a shoulder bolt inserted into a proximal end portion of the blade shoe, and a distal end portion of the blade shoe is slidably supported on a supporting face provided in the engine. Th distal end portion of the blade shoe contacts a flat, first supporting face at a point. When tension in the chain is increased, the distal end portion contacts a concave, second supporting face at a point which is continuous with the first supporting face. The blade tensioner also includes a stop mechanism.

    摘要: A hydraulic tensioner (1) that decreases the number of components, secures an adequate backlash, and prevents backward movement of a plunger (3). The hydraulic tensioner (1) includes a hollow plunger (3) having rack teeth (3b) formed on a portion of an outer circumferential surface, slidably received in a bore (2a) of the housing (2), where the plunger (3) has an inner space to form a fluid chamber with the bore. A slider (72) housing portion, having an inclined surface, located in the housing (2), receives a wedge-shaped slider (72) having a ratchet portion (72a) adapted to engage with the rack teeth (3b) of the plunger (3) and a second side surface. The wedge-shaped slider (72) being slidable along the inclined surface of the slider housing portion in a direction crossing an axial centerline of the plunger (3). The hydraulic tensioner (1) further includes a first spring (4) biasing the plunger (3) in a protruding direction, and a second spring (73) biasing the slider (72) such that the slider moves along the inclined slide surface of the slider housing portion. A "wedge-effect" prevents the plunger (3) from moving backwards.
