The apparatus includes a mounting attachment having a conduit member, and at least one combination of multiple sensing members configured to the conduit member. The conduit member may be disposed entirely within the duct such that the multiple sensing members are located within the duct establishing direct contact with the flowable medium. The multiple sensing members include oxygen and temperature sensing elements respectively, to determine parameter such as oxygen level in the flowable medium, and temperature of the flowable medium. Several such apparatus may be mounted in the duct across the cross-section to define a grid to determine said parameter at various locations across the cross-section.

The present invention relates to a device (1) for testing a sample (13) via a gas stream, including: an opening (2); means (3) for generating a gas stream (25) in the device along at least one flow path passing through the opening; at least one pressure sensor (5, 6), each pressure sensor being arranged to measure a pressure of the gas stream along at least one flow path; and a mass flowmeter (4) arranged to measure a parameter representative of the mass flow of the gas stream along the flow path. According to the invention, the device is arranged to quantify the presence of a gas of interest within a gas being analyzed and/or to determine the size of a leak hole (22) from a measurement of the parameter representative of the mass flow. The invention also relates to a method implemented by such a device. Said method can be used to test the integrity of food packaging, and for detecting leaks or problems related to sealing containers.

Data of a plurality of samples collected by an LC/MS, GC/MS or other systems are converted into a two-dimensional table format without losing information and with a light load, thereby enabling a correct comparative analysis. After LC/MS measurement data on a plurality of samples are obtained and the respective extracted ion chromatograms (XICs) are created (S1 and S2), a time-axis adjustment for correcting a discrepancy in the retention time is performed (S3), followed by a process of correcting the missing of data which has occurred in the head and/or tail section of the data as a result of the time-axis adjustment (S5). As a specific example, the data of all the samples within the retention-time range where the missing of data has occurred are deleted so as to make the heads and tails of the data coincide with each other. Then a one-dimensional table holding an array of signal-intensity values is created for each XIC, and a plurality of one-dimensional tables of XICs created for one sample are joined together in order of m/z value to create an elongate one-dimensional table (S6). The elongate one-dimensional tables of a plurality of samples are arranged in another dimensional direction to obtain a two-dimensional table (S7).
