It is proposed, that the order of the electrodes (7) on the catheter (5) is provided to the control system (3) or saved in a memory (13) of the control system (3) and that in the analysis routine (11) the control system (3) determines the electrical status of the target region (4) based on spatial information including the order of placement of the electrodes (7) on the catheter (5).

摘要: An implantable system (100) includes an atrial leadless pacemaker (aLP) (102) and a ventricular leadless pacemaker (vLP) (104) having a memory (156) storing a paced atrial activation morphology template (604) corresponding to far-field atrial signal components expected to be present in a vEGM sensed by the vLP (104) when an atrial pacing pulse delivered by the aLP (102) captures atrial tissue. The vLP (104) senses a vEGM and compares a morphology of a portion of the sensed vEGM to the paced atrial activation morphology template (604) to determine whether a match therebetween is detected. Additionally, the vLP (104) determines whether atrial capture occurred or failed to occur (responsive to an atrial pacing pulse), based on whether the vLP (104) detects a match between the morphology of a portion of the sensed vEGM and the paced atrial activation morphology template (604).

摘要: Systems and methods for treating cardiac arrhythmias are disclosed. In one embodiment, an SICD comprises two or more electrodes, a charge storage device, and a controller operatively coupled to two or more of the electrodes and the charge storage device. In some embodiments, the controller is configured to monitor cardiac activity of the heart of the patient, detect an occurrence of a cardiac arrhythmia based on the cardiac activity, and determine a type of the detected cardiac arrhythmia from two or more types of cardiac arrhythmias. If the determined type of cardiac arrhythmia is one of a first set of cardiac arrhythmia types, the controller sends an instruction for reception by an LCP to initiate the application of ATP therapy by the LCP. If the determined type of cardiac arrhythmia is not one of the first set cardiac arrhythmia types, the controller does not send the instruction.
