[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The method comprises a head forging step for manufacturing a screw blank by performing a warm head working to form a screw head part on a wire formed of the magnesium-base alloy obtained by drawing and a rolling step for manufacturing the screw by performing a warm rolling working to form screw threads in the screw blank. In the head forging step, the head working is performed by using a holding die fixing the wire and a punch forming the screw head part, the holding die and the punch are heated, and at least the holding die is heated to a temperature of 140 to 250˚C to heat the wire to a temperature of 140 to less than 250˚C.
