Embodiments of this application provide a dielectric filter, a duplexer, and a communications device, relate to communications device components, and intend to resolve problems of a great difficulty in matching between different filters and high layout space consumption that are caused by addition of a low-pass filter cascaded with the dielectric filter. The dielectric filter includes a dielectric body, and a wideband filtering structure and a narrowband filtering structure that are disposed in the dielectric body. The wideband filtering structure includes a groove and at least one first resonator. The groove is disposed on a first surface of the dielectric body and is configured to adjust a frequency position of a passband of the wideband filtering structure. The first resonator includes a through hole and an open loop. The through hole penetrates the bottom of the groove and a second surface of the dielectric body. The open loop is located on a bottom surface of the groove and is disposed around an opening of the through hole. The narrowband filtering structure includes at least one second resonator, and the second resonator includes a blind hole disposed on the second surface of the dielectric body. The first surface and the second surface of the dielectric body are disposed oppositely.

A resonator includes a shield conductor (10), a columnar body (21), and a first dielectric body (12). The shield conductor (10) includes a first conductor (13) located on a negative z-direction side and a second conductor (14) located on a positive z-direction side, and has a cavity (19) therein. The columnar body (21) is composed of a dielectric body or a conductor and has a columnar shape, and is placed inside the cavity (19), an end in the negative z-direction thereof being joined to the first conductor (13), an interval being provided between an end in the positive z-direction of the columnar body and the shield conductor (10). [Problem] There is provided a coaxial resonator having a high Q value in the first resonant mode and a wide resonance frequency gap between the first resonant mode and the second resonant mode, as well as a dielectric filter, a wireless communication module, and a wireless communication device employing the same. [Solution] A coaxial resonator includes a dielectric block (10); a first inner conductor (13) disposed in an inner surface of a first through hole (11) which extends from a first main surface of the dielectric block to an opposite second main surface thereof, the first inner conductor (13) being connected to a reference potential at one side thereof ; and an outer conductor (15) disposed over side surfaces of the dielectric block (10), the outer conductor surrounding the first inner conductor (13), the outer conductor (15) being connected to the reference potential. There is a low-dielectric-constant portion in a location between the first inner conductor (13) and the outer conductor (15). The low-dielectric-constant portion surrounds a periphery of the first inner conductor (13) and is lower in dielectric constant than the dielectric block (10). A coaxial resonator having a high Q value in the first resonant mode and a wide resonance frequency gap between the first resonant mode and the second resonant mode can be obtained.

A transmission line (4) comprises a substrate (6) consisting of a dielectric, a strip conductor (5) and a grounding conductor layer (9). The tip end of the strip conductor (5) faces a part of the dielectric member (1) to function as a coupling probe for output coupling or input coupling. The transmission line (4) includes a strip line, micro-strip line, and a coplanar line, and suffers little loss when connected to a circuit board.

A bias circuit applicable to a high-frequency amplifier used in a communication device such as a portable telephone and adapted for reducing the harmonic distortion with a simple structure. A high-frequency amplifier of high-efficiency and small current consumption in which the voltage drop caused at the bias circuit is reduced is also disclosed. The high-frequency amplifier is composed of an amplifier circuit, an output-side matching circuit, and a bias circuit. In this bias circuit, one end of a parallel circuit composed of a first transmission line and a first capacitor is connected between the amplifier circuit and the output-side matching circuit. The other end of the parallel circuit is connected to a power supply and grounded through a second capacitor. Thus, the bias circuit is kept open in a frequency band of the signal amplified by the amplifier circuit and short-circuited in a desired frequency band, thereby reducing the high-frequency distortion without using any low-pass filter.
