摘要： A cyclical wire stitching machine head (10) includes a reciprocating staple-forming and driving apparatus (15) which is coupled to a wire gripping and feeding mechanism (20) which reciprocates with it. During each cycle of the machine the supply wire is gripped and a predetermined length thereof is fed through a cutter (32,33) to a holder (45) and severed while, simultaneously, the length severed in the preceding cycle is formed into a staple and driven through the work against a clincher. On the retraction stroke, the holder is rotated to bring the severed length of wire into position for forming and driving during the next drive stroke. A guide tube (85) positively guides and supports the unstraightened wire from a supply coil along a feed path from the input end of the head to the gripping and feeding mechanism. Guide means (90) are also provided for guiding the wire from the cutter to the holder while accommodating rotation of the severed length of wire with the holder.

摘要： To provide interlinked staples which are made possible to be fed accurately in the inside of a stapler and a staple cartridge which houses these interlinked staples.
The interlinked staples 1a are constituted by interlinking a plurality of staples 2a each of which has an elongated and straight-formed shape. The vicinities of the edge portions in the longitudinal direction of the each staple 2a are formed in trapezoidal shapes, and the widths are tapered toward the tips thereof. Also, adhesion portions 31 coated with adhesive agent are provided on the rear surfaces of the vicinities of both the edge portions in the longitudinal direction of the each staple 2a. Also, there are provided elliptical feeding holes 32 at predetermined positions from both the edge portions of the side by which each staple 2a is interlinked. A portion between two feeding holes 32 is made to be a slit portion 33 and the respective staples 2a are cut off perfectly thereby. Portions on the outside of the two feeding holes 32 and until both the edge portions of the side by which each staple 2a is interlinked are operated as staple interlinking portions 34 and the respective staples 2a become in a state of being interlinked.

Zusätzlich weisen die Befestigungsmittel (82) an ihrer der oberen Zugstange (80) zugewandten Seite Gleitscheiben (86) auf, so dass die untere Zugstange (84) relativ zur oberen Zugstange (80) ohne Lösung der Befestigungsmittel (82) bewegbar ist.
