Further, present embodiments may include creating and/or distributing iridescent and/or phosphorescent beach surface material (20, 110) in one or more containment structures (16) that define the beach area (10, 100). Additionally, present embodiments may include adjustable or attachable barrier extensions (42) to facilitate maintenance. Further, present embodiments may include transparent or translucent beach surface material (20, 110) disposed in one or more containment structures (16) and a lighting system (106, 206) under the beach surface materials.

The processor is further configured to receive an adjustment to the respective ride path, the respective choreographed movement, or both, of a selected ride vehicle of the plurality of ride vehicles, wherein the adjustment of the respective ride path comprises an adjustment to the movement of the selected ride vehicle along the surface of the ride area, and wherein the adjustment to the respective choreographed movement comprises an adjustment to the movement of the rider support of the selected ride vehicle relative to the base of the selected ride vehicle. The processor is also configured to control the respective ride path, the respective choreographed movement, or both, of other ride vehicles of the plurality of ride vehicles based on the adjustment.
